Maneater's Steam community is live Aug 12, 2017 As our relentless march towards launching on Early Access continues, the time has come for us to kick off our Steam community so fans can tell us what they really think about our creation. Maneater is an action role-playing game released for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in 2020. In the game, the player takes control over a Bull Shark that has to survive in the changing environment and get revenge on those who get in his way.

What Is the hook (Maneater)?
A single player ShaRkPG! But what does that mean? You, the player, are a shark (hooked yet?)!
Starting off as a shark pup, you are put forth into an aquatic world based around the gulf coast of the southern United States. Your mission is to eat, grow, and evolve as you explore this world and hunt down the man who killed your mother in an epic aquatic RPG adventure.
Decide if you are a stealthy predator, or perhaps the biggest apex predator in the Gulf of Mexico. Eat, Grow and Evolve to your playstyle! But be careful, as your wreck more destruction along the coast, foes will appear to sink your ambition of revenge.

The tiger shark skin is available at select physical retail stores only at this time. It will be mentioned on the store page if it is included at that store.
Who is steering this ship (working on the game)?
Maneater was originally conceived and developed by Blindside Interactive and was set to be published by Tripwire Interactive.
It has now been acquired wholly by Tripwire Interactive and is being developed by an in-house Tripwire team with support from Blindside and other partners.
Is (Early Access) chum in the water?

Currently we are not planning for any paid early access period. Some longtime Tripwire community members and content creators may be invited to help us test and showcase the game at various points before its full release.
